DESCRIPTION:

On this 11 day/10 night adventure, including a 3 day/2night Panama City layover, flights leave from Dulles Airport in the Washington, DC area.  Tour Monkey Island and visit with natives of a remote Indian village who still live and work as they have for centuries!  Visit the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal and tour the scenic Amador Causeway.  Your Panama prestay culminates with a deliciously dazzling dinner show, showcasing authentic Panamanian costumes and dancing.

On arrival in Lima, Peru, transfer to your centrally located hotel and get ready for a breathtaking evening light show at the Lima Magic Fountains.  The next 7 days in Peru will be chock-filled with adventure!  Spend an afternoon with Peruvian single moms, learn some spanish, shop for meal ingredients, and help cook an authentic Peruvian dinner, followed by salsa dance instruction & an evening of cultural exchange!  Explore the Sacred Valley & have your camera ready as you board the panoramic vistadome train to conquer the peaks of Machu Picchu before traveling south to the blissfully blue waters of Lake Titicaca and the floating islands! At the end of your journey, transfer back to Lima for your flight home, with a lifetime of memories!

DON'T FORGET:

You'll need time to adjust to the high altitude in Peru!  Bring comfortable walking shoes and limit luggage to a small case and/or a backpack.  You'll need $$ for tipping, souvenirs and the occasional meal.
